Description

New Hall Effect design. The thing that makes the hall effect sticks much better than the normal sticks in xbox One controllers is that they use magnets to detect the movement rather than the standard wheel sensors that wear out quickly causing stick drift. These are much higher quality than the standard sticks, they are much longer lasting, you can manually calibrate them yourself so even if over time the magnet moves slightly you can just manually recalibrate it to adjust this movement. They click much more responsively than the originals as well so you don't have to press as hard to run on games etc..

Description:

- 2x Hall effect joysticks

- These use magnets to detect movement rather than the traditional wheel sensors that come with standard controllers. Magnets are more accurate and much longer lasting the the standard wheel type sensors that wear out quickly.

- These are much higher quality providing easier more responsive click (easier to run in games), have a strong spring back motion so they won't go soft or get stuck at the edges of the controller.

- Soldering is required to install these. They will also require calibration to get them set up to your controller as all controllers are calibrated differently. I use these to repair xbox controllers myself and the easiest way to calibrate them is to keep the main circuit board out of the controller and attach it to the computer. Open a controller tester that detects the sensitivity of the analog sticks. Then push the anolog stick to one side, whilst it is in place put a pin or tiny screwdriver in one of the holes in the sensor (see picture 2) then push the stick towards the middle (you should feel resistance). Once you have done this a bit you should see the difference on screen. So you will need to do this for each direction so that the resistance is as low as possible (doesn't have to be exactly on the centre just below 10% resistance roughly i find works.) If you have any trouble with this i have a youtube video for a tutorial on how to calibrate them.

- These will only work with the following controllers:

  • Xbox One model 1537 controllers
  • Xbox One model 1697 controllers
  • Xbox One model 1708 controllers
  • Xbox Series S|X 1914 controllers.
